As he teeters on the brink of discovery and begins to unravel the mystery behind Cassiel's disappearance, Chap realizes that he's in much deeper danger than he could have imagined.
After all, you can't just steal a life and expect to get away with it.
Award-winning author Jenny Valentine delivers an explosive mystery where dark secrets, betrayal, and loss pave the way for one teen's chance at redemption.

THE FAERYS VIEW

Double by Jenny Valentine is a suspenseful mystery hidden under the guise of a mistaken identity. Ms. Valentine writes beautifully about a poor young man who goes from rags to riches but soon finds out it was safer out on the streets!

Chap lived dangerously out on the streets, fighting for every scrap of food, a place to sleep and, at times, for his very life. Suddenly his luck changes and he’s mistaken for a wealthy missing boy named Cassiel, he eagerly assumes the role and his life does a complete 180*. It doesn’t take very long for Chap to figure out that all is not as wonderful as it first seemed.

Double is quite thrilling and keeps the reader in suspense as Chap starts to put together the pieces and clues left behind that might explain Cassiel’s disappearance two years earlier. The more Chap uncovers, the more danger he finds lurking around him.

I found Double to be very suspenseful, there were plot twists that I didn’t see coming and thrills galore! I also liked how Ms. Valentine developed Chaps character throughout the book; he is as much a mystery as Cassiel. I have no doubt that anyone who reads this will find it an extremely enjoyable and satisfying read.

THE FAERY SAYS THIS IS AN EXTREMELY WORTHY READ!
