Follow Friday #1

This is Parajunkee's Question for This Follow Friday:

Q. Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100factsaboutme, give us five BOOK RELATED silly facts about you.

1) I'm a COVER LOVER-I'm shameless! Sometimes I have to really focus on the content/synopsis and/or previous reviews to help in my decision or I might just buy it because it's pretty to look at.

I need to go to Cover Lover's Anonymous!

2) I've been known to eat only Poptarts when reading (which is a good majority of my time). Preferably Frosted Strawberry but any kind will do. They're easy to handle and I can nibble the edges off before getting to the yummy inside! Poptarts fit in the major food group under Fruit! Don't even try to argue with me, I'm an RN!

BTW: I can nibble the edges perfectly without dropping a crumb all while reading---Betcha didn't know I was that talented, did ya? Oh yeah, I've got it goin' on!

3) Once I start a book that I'm really into nobody get's dinner, conversation or actually noticed, for that matter! I'm pretty much into every book I read :o]

4) My Kindle has 600+ books on it-but in my defense, a lot of those were free, some are samples and I've had a Kindle(s) for almost 3 years :o]Plus I still buy print books. Needless to say, my husband is tired of buying book shelves for major holidays and events.

Does that make me a whole new kind of addict?

5) I have 7 different book lights and I'm always on the look out for more! My favorites so far for Paperback or hardcover-The Wedge Light and for Kindle the Belkin Flex Neck.

Book Light Addiction? Nah...Let us not even go there!

    600 books on your kindle! That's amazing! I actually don't own an ebook reader of any sort but just imagining 600 titles to read! Wow!!!

    Thanks and I used to be a book light collector, but now that I have my awesome NookColor I can read everything with a backlight! I don't have quite the collection you do, but I just got my ereader for my birthday and I have 180 or so, but I'm in the same boat you are with free books and samples. My real book count is probably only 130 maybe. :) Anyway, nice to "meet" you and I'll ttyl! P.S. super-cute header!

    I just read my 1st e-book last week. (I don't have a kindle, but I put it on my ipod) and I didn't think I was going to like only having so little on a "page" but it was suprisingly not annoying.

    Ahh, Frosted Strawberry Poptarts are my FAVES!! Thankfully my kids don't like them, so when I buy them, they are all mine! LOL!!

    I wanted to say- 75 miles is a really long commute!! :)

    That's so funny, Christy! I've been known to 'misplace' them!

    I'm an RN-C with a lot of Critical Care experience in a small tourist town and our little hospital is terrible. I worked there for 5 years but I need a challenge so I went to work in the 'City' in a progressive ICU/CCU in a teaching hospital where I ended up as the Nursing Supervisor. I loved it there but then I got sick... long story :o(

    I love your header/banner! It is SO cute!

    My husband and I are both major readers, and we got tired of buying and putting bookshelves together, too, so we both got Kindles. Life-changer!
    We still buy physical books, but limit them to ones we LOVE, ya know?

    Hey lady. I do covers a lot because I don't read the synopsis. I think covers mean a lot know matter what anyone says!

    I still read more print than on my Nook but doing more these days. At least it is back lit! :-) (and adjustable) Super nice.
