Fabulous Independent Authors-Showing Them Some Love!

I've been getting a lot of requests to read and review books from Independent (Indie) Authors. This is a subject that is near and dear to my heart. I've always tried to find ways to 'help' indie authors whether by reviewing their books on Amazon or posting on their websites, etc. I'd like to do more. So many of the books that I love have been written by indie authors. This is one really meaningful Thank-you from an indie author I received in my email this week, that shall remain nameless because I didn't ask permission to use it:

THANK YOU, Kristi! How ever can we pay you guys back for this invaluable service you offer to us???

I've decided to dedicate my Saturday posts to spotlight a few of these fabulous hardworking artists. I have a lot on my plate right now and I'm behind on some reviews that I'll be catching up on :o] but I will feature them in some way, most likely a review and book cover with a link but I'd like to start doing some guest interviews and giveaways.

I received so many books this week, so many of them beautiful copies from writers that have worked so hard to not only write their beautiful books but have also worked hard to get their book out there in the public eye---And---That's where I'd like to come in and contribute what little I can to help them. You can join me if you wish; I'd appreciate it as I know so many indie authors will.

I haven't had a chance to make a button nor have I come up with a 'witty' name yet but I'm working on it. I still have a week!

  2. This is a great idea. I would love to see your top picks of indie authors, as I too am making a pledge to review more indies. Just did a blog featuring Amanda Hocking's Trylle Trilogy(not that she needs my help), but I have a few others on my plate to post reviews on and I'm really excited about it

  3. Winks to Kristi...the person who wrote that little quote to you meant it in every conceivable context. Indie authors would be twiddling their ink-stained thumbs if it weren't for book bloggers and folks passionate about books who're willing to spread the good word. Don't ever forget how important you all are to The Process. X's and O's, Little Faery.
