TEASER TUESDAY #2 YOU WANT A FREE COPY? READ THIS!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.
I got Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins at 3 am last night and I couldn't sleep so I started it and made it almost through the entire book! It was that good!Demonglass is the second in the Hex Hall series the first being Hex hall which I read and enjoyed for it's entertainment value but Demonglass is much better, my buddy Julie, over at Manga Maniac Cafe, agrees and says she 'loves the snappy dialogue' and I have to agree! So, here's my teasers!
FIRST TEASER SENTENCE:
"Skill Nine, you asshat, I thought as I drove my elbow back, while at the same time attempting to drive my boot heel as hard as I could into his instep."
Asshat, I love that word, don't you? It's just such a wonderfully descriptive insult. Okay, on to the next teaser same page, as per the rules :o]
SECOND TEASER SENTENCE:
"I was about to try Skill Fifteen, which involved both breaking his nose and potentially ending his chances of ever having kids, when my captor bend down and wispered in my ear,[Don't even think about it, Mercer.]"
Hmmmm.... these Skills could be useful in a dark alley or parking garage... that's a pretty good reason to buy this book. Learing Skills like this could save your life from potential perverts out to get you! No joke!
Don't you just want to run out and buy this book now? Go.... right now..... run to the book store immediately and get this book.... okay, get on the pc and order it from Amazon.... c'mon, you know you want it! THE FIRST PERSON TO COMMENT ON THIS WILL GET A FREE COPY OF THIS FROM AMAZON PAID FOR BY MOI!!!

"" I think you're going to have to start over." "I know !" Molly fought the urge to put her head in her hand and sob.
Obviously she couldn't use a measureing cup and think about Jack at the same time, and she had a mass of unappetizing goo in front of her to prove it. ... "You wanted to though, didnt you ? " Wanted to what ?"
hehee... This is from Down in Flames by Sara Ballance ;)
