Dead Beautiful served up everything I love about this genre and more.



This is one of those books where I wished I were the main character (vicariously)! I wanted to jump into the pages and become Renee; despite the horrors she faced. I felt like I was living the story along with her. That's how beautifully written this story is. It pulls you in from the start and the pages just keep turning; for me, they turned deep into the night :o] a big thank-you to my clip on book light!



Ms. Woon writes as if this were one of many novels; I can't believe this is a debut story. The story line does entail a lot of what the genre revolves around but make no mistake; this is definitely distinctive despite any similarities of young love or boarding schools.



I won't go into the plot or character descriptions as it's been done but what I will say is if you enjoy the YA paranormal genre (whether you're a teen, young adult or mature adult!) than read this book.
